1 Bottega Closes, 2 Open; Ramo Doggie Pop-Up; Burger Cup
We were a little worried to hear that Bottega would be closing their incredibly popular restaurant (as well as their relatively new watering hole Vesuvio), but thank the pizza gods lapped our tears and answered our prayers with not one, but two new locations in the next two months.
See you later Vesuvio, we barely knew you
Their original, flagship venue is moving to Nali Patio, taking the spot next to High Town (who recently launched their new spring menu) on the second floor and overlooking the ground floor terrace, while a second location will also be opening up next to International SOS Clinic in Sanyuanqiao.
Both locations will have a completely revamped menu with new eats and drinks. The Nali Patio location will be the first to open (although no date has been set yet while the team wait for construction to finish), and the Sanyuanqiao location is expected to open in May. We can't wait to check them out and will keep you updated on dates as soon as they are set.
Over in the hutongs, Ramo is gearing up for a three day Penny's and Body Memory Clinic Pop-Up between April 29 and May 1, from 2-10pm, for a dog-friendly and fun weekend.
Body Memory, which is usually more concerned with the human anatomy, will hold a specialized clinic in creating jewelry and ornaments from your dog's paws. The process is easy and shouldn't scare your fluffy babies, taking only five minutes to complete. You'll receive your pet's within a week and you can opt to turn it into a brooch or pendant. Use the QR code below to make an appointment in advance.
Ramo and Mimi e Coco will be providing food and drinks for humans during this time (including hot dogs), and Penny's will have fresh goodies on hand for our four-footed pals.
